fantasy vs reality – stop watching porn and regain your life

Everything starts innocently.

You watch a few porn videos, think it’s no big deal. You watch a few more. It becomes a daily routine. You’re often tired the next day from staying up too late watching adult content (and maybe doing something alongside it).

Soon enough, you can’t stop watching porn. Why? Because pornography has drawn you into its fantasy, and your brain has a hard time telling fantasy vs reality.

This is a terrible problem to have. It’s kinda like Inception – just as you can get “lost in the dream,” you can also replace real people and real sex with their virtual counterparts.

The one paradigm shift you need – if you’re stuck in fantasy – is to allow reality to be better than fantasy. This is a painful, slow, but worthwhile process. Start integrating yourself back into the real world by investing time in the people in your life, or in meeting new people. Go out often. You may just find the woman of your dreams – and no, not the always-submissive, unrealistic fantasy porn star.

You also need to stop watching porn as effectively as possible. Reading my eGuide, doing a 40-day Lent challenge, or go on a road trip with friends. Sometimes it takes something drastic to stop a drastic problem.

So, what will it be for you today – the red pill (reality) or the blue pill (fantasyland)?
